Practicing IT manager

I bring more than 30 years of enterprise IT operations experience, including Fortune 500 environments. I am also a practicing IT manager based in San Francisco.

That experience keeps my work connected to the decisions IT leaders make: managing provider performance, explaining service problems to leadership, reviewing spending requests, and planning improvements.

Through DeductiveLab, I help buyers examine the evidence behind IT support performance. I review incident records and troubleshooting practices, identify questions that need answers, and translate findings into practical actions for provider reviews.

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

A service report should help you make a decision.

Response times and closed-ticket counts tell part of the story. Buyers also need to understand how faults were identified, whether resolutions held, and what was learned from recurring incidents.

DeductiveLab brings a structured deduction-then-isolation method to that review. The goal is a clearer provider conversation and an improvement plan grounded in evidence.

HOW I HELP

Five ways I support IT buyers.

Assess the quality and consistency of documented troubleshooting.

Identify recurring support problems and evidence gaps.

Prepare questions and priorities for vendor reviews.

Review the evidence behind staffing and spending requests.

Help define service improvement actions and follow-up measures.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Making troubleshooting methods easier to understand and apply.

I have taught IT troubleshooting methods to more than 50,000 professionals across more than 100 countries through my Udemy courses. My work covers both analyst skill development and the management practices that support it.

Bring a specific service question.

If you need to understand a recurring problem, prepare a provider review, or assess a resource request, start with the decision you need to make.
